And Play End Play

The Baker has a problem. The shop is about to open and she has neither strawberries nor custard nor cream to make her famous strawberry tartlets. Customers are about to barge into the store and her apprentice is of no help at all and would rather recite dark theories about the imminent End of the World. That the world is indeed about to end is of little concern to the baker, after all, customers are waiting...

Genesis

God has a problem. A dream has come true and he is given a planet to play with. But what now? What should he do with it? Should he listen to other people's maybe-not-so selfless advice or just do what he himself thinks is best? When he finally decides to populate his planet and Adam and Eve have been delivered, none of the events unfold the way he intended them to...

Two young authors adopt the biblical stories of the Beginning and the End of the world and render them into a contemporary version. These renditions are neither completely true to their ancient predecessors, nor do they ignore them. So, what if the world is about to end the moment one steps into a bakery to buy croissants or a sweet treat? What if the world was created by a young yuppie who has just been assigned his first job at a big firm? What if we all were, due to financial constraints, just made as low-cost products?
A singing Indian, an overdue pregnant woman, a manic psychic and an omniscient demon and others complement the classic cast of God, Adam and Eve. See Pop Culture's version of the Creation and the Apocalypse!

And the best thing about coming along: You'll get two plays for the price of one!
