Agenda
- Nicolette's resignation
- General Assembly
- Homespun
- Drama Weekend
- Matt's Project
- One Act Play
1. Nicolette's resignation
Nicolette has officially announced her resignation; this was the last meeting she attended as AC-member. Since Nico has been in charge of the 'Fundus' so far, the AC will have to designate someone else responsible for it. Simone Ingold has offered to take over the task on a provisional basis, until a definitive solution is found. An updated inventory-list of the 'Fundus' remains to be done, which Nico volunteered to accomplish as her 'last deed'.
2. General Assembly
Since the Students' Committee is not planning a GA this semester, there will be no joint-venture this time. The AC will call the GA on:
Thursday, 12 Dec 02, 12h15, F. 006
Giusi will print posters (pin-boards, ED-doors) & flyers (teaching staff's pigeon-holes) to announce the assembly publicly.
3. Homespun
The AC gives its general ok. Should the costs not be covered, the AC is prepared to pay up to Fr. 400.-. The venue has not yet been decided upon. There will be no entrance fee, but the audience will be asked to make a contribution, which will be announced more clearly than last time.
4. Drama Weekend
The same formula as last year will be adopted, i.e. same place, same format. The organisers are hoping to bring together about 20 participants. The budget plan shows a probable deficit for this project: the AC has set as a condition that the minimal number of participants be 15 and has agreed to cover a deficit up to max. Fr. 800.-.
Matt's Project
Apparently Richard III has realised a huge profit, the final account can be found in the folder. Matt is planning to stage Bash - Latterday Plays and envisages a budget much the same as his former project. Nico thinks the costs will be higher, mainly for two reasons:
- the royalties are bound to be more expensive (her guess: Fr. 1000.-)
- the play will be staged in a smaller venue, which means fewer people and lower income
Therefore, the AC gives its provisional agreement to the project and postpones the definitive decision, until the actual figures are presented.
One-Act Play
The OAP will basically have the same format as the last One-Act Evening, which made a profit of Fr. 300.-. Again, no entrance fee will be charged, but a contribution welcomed. The venue is probably going to be the "Kuppelraum", which can be booked for free. Ronald knows where to get lights and props at a reasonable price; he will report at the next meeting. The AC is ready to cover a deficit of max. Fr. 500.-.
