1. New Project
Toby announced that Giovanni is planning to produce an adaptation of "Ordinary people" in June 2001. A proper project proposal will he discussed at the next meeting.
2. Proposals for a new name for the Drama Group
The list of proposals for a new name written at the (re-)cycle party was reduced to a selection of five names. The suggestions include: Instinctive Act(s), ImpAct(s), Lunactics, Fabulact(s)/Fabulactors and reAct. A definite name shall be chosen by vote of those present at the General Assembly on Tuesday, 3rd of April 2001.
3. Events
Homespun
Unfortunately, the Homespun Evening held at the restaurant Du Nord has a deficit of 250.- It was decided that it will be backed up by the Arts Council.
Photo Exhibition
At the beginning of next term a photo exhibition will take place at the English Department. The Arts Council decided to make a contribution to the vernissage and to publicity.
4. General Assembly
The General Assembly will take place on Tuesday, 3rd of April 2001 at 12.15. The agenda includes: Reports, Ongoing projects, vote on a new name for the Drama Group and the election of a new member replacing Tom Senn.
5. Any other business
Wardrobe
Toby offered to organize the wardrobe.
Mailing list
Giovanni prepared a mailing list for students who would like to be inforned about the Arts Council's activities. It will be circling in courses.
People to contact
A new notice with name, e-mail etc. of people to contact in case one wants to know anything concerning the Arts Council has been prepared and will be on the noticeboard(s).
The next meeting will be held following the General Assembly on Tuesday, 3rd of April 2001.
