1. "Angels in America"
The kind of bravery needed to stage such a play (difficult for students, US in the 80s hence rather dated, theme of homosexuality) should be encouraged in the future. Given that "Angels" really was a success. In terms of money the costs were just covered. Most expensive were the programs.
The Gaskessel is an intimate place which makes it nice and problematic.
The possibility of using the "Kuppelraum" (even if only for rehearsals) should be checked again and a list of theatres that are willing to co-operate will be put together. Problems with using the "Kuppelraum" are most likely linked with concerns regarding security.
2. "April in Paris"
The production in the "Katakömbli" was a further successful production for what concerns the performance as well as money-wise. The production was supported by the British Council with 300.-. A plus of 600.- will come back to the Arts Council.
3. Name
The proposals made for a new name for the drama group were all considered unsatisfying. It was therefore decided that in a new round new suggestions should be made by all who care.
4. Proposal
The proposal by Matt Kimmich for a new production was approved.
5. New members
Nicolette Kretz was welcomed and present as new member at this meeting. Apart from her, no new members are needed at this point in time.
